Bunyola

Agrotourism Finca Sa Màniga is located in the Mallorcan town of Bunyola, at the foot of the spectacular Tramuntana mountains and at the foot of the Serra d’Alfàbia. The village is located 14 km from Palma, draw a picture of a beautiful and quiet town whose central point, “Sa Plaça” every Saturday hosts a traditional market.

Also pass some torrents like Coa Negre and Bunyola Torrent, is also has one of the most extensive forests of the island of Mallorca.

Hiking

Mallorca’s rich environmental and scenic heritage make this island the ideal destination for anyone that enjoys hiking and exploring their surroundings. The natural spaces are well-conserved and offer delightful and safe routes. Mallorca has a vast network of paths, ranging from those that link small towns and villages to others that extend as far as the remotest coastal spots.

Most of the trails venture into the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, the island’s most outstanding natural space; stony paths that take visitors through scenery dotted with spectacular rocky crags, cliffs and ravines. The rest of the island also boasts a major network of routes that stretch out over less taxing landscapes.

Mallorquina gastronomy

Like its wines and liqueurs, Mallorca’s gastronomy ranks amongst the finest in the Mediterranean. Staple ingredients include fish and shellfish, vegetables, pulses, pork, lamb, spices and the essential locally-produced olive oil.

Its best-known dishes include frit mallorquí (meat and vegetable stir-fry); tumbet (roasted vegetables); sopes mallorquines (vegetable casseroles); stuffed aubergines; porcella rostida (roast suckling pig); or escaldums (free range chicken casserole); and of course the classic pa amb oli (bread with olive oil) and cured meats such as sobrasada or botifarron sausages. Traditional savoury pastries that can be enjoyed in this region include the panades or cocarrois (meat and vegetable pasties) and coca de verdura (vegetable-topped pizzas). Nor must we forget the delicious range of sweets and desserts, the most famous of which is undoubtedly the ensaïmada pastry.

Escalation

Mallorca is one of the most interesting places and European destinations for climbing and sport climbing.

Also the east coast of Mallorca has established itself as a world-class deep water solo (DWS).

The type and style of rock climbing that is located in Mallorca has levels for all types, from the lowest levels to the most difficult.

A few hundred meters from Finca Sa Màniga you’ll find one of the best known at European level as Sa gouge points.

Golf

The range of sports facilities is enormous. The Mediterranean climate favors multiple activities on each of the 365 days of the year.
